  • Provides a crisp and direct light when used without the internal and external diffusers. Also perfect for beauty and fashion. The narrow shaped Deep Octa reduces the spread of light and offers sharper shadows compared to standard sized octagonal softboxes.
  • There is a front and an internal diffuser, either of which are removeable. With deflector in position and both removed, the softbox can turn into a beauty dish.
  • A unique feature of the Rotalux design is the ability to use a Deflector over the flash tube to further soften the light. This works with Elinchrom heads, where the umbrella slot is placed centrally. A translucent deflector included; optional deflectors allow further modification of softness/hardness and colour balance.
  • Further optional modifiers include Hooded Front Diffusers and RotaGrid eggcrates (honeycombs).
  • As supplied, the Rotalux includes a lightweight Speedring and an adapter to fit any Elinchrom or Prolinca head. Alternative adapters for the Speedring are available for Bowens, Profoto, Broncolor, Alien Bees/Balcar and Hensel.
  • Includes a carrying case. 2 year Elinchrom warranty.
