The ASTAT-NEX is a tripod mount ring for use with Novoflex Sony NEX and Canon EOS-M lens to body adapters, and the LEM/LER adapter. It provides better balance with larger lenses, and takes the strain off the body bayonet. It has an Arca quick release base profile and 1/4" and 3/8" base sockets and a nominal diameter of 60mm

Product highlights

Large lenses adapted directly on to the small NEX bodies could place excessive strain on both the lens mount and tripod socket.
The Novoflex NEX adaptor is placed within the collar and locked into place with the side screw. This then gives better balance and takes the weight of a large lens.
Base is shaped to fit Novoflex Q and Arca-pattern quick release clamps.
